Meet Chef Mohammed, the heart and soul of our kitchen. His journey with Indian food began over twenty years ago, and it's been a love story ever since. Starting his career at the prestigious Taj in India, he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of authentic flavors. His talent then took him to Singapore, where he spent five incredible years as a head chef, wowing diners with his culinary creations.
Driven by a relentless passion for his craft, Chef Mohammed made his way to Melbourne, a city known for its vibrant food scene. Here, he made a significant impact at popular spots like Pan's Curry House and Mirch Masala Indian Restaurant. His rich and flavorful dishes quickly became favorites among locals.
It was in Melbourne that Chef Mohammed and Varun, his friend with a knack for business and finance, decided to combine their strengths and create something truly special. With Mohammed's culinary expertise and Varun's business acumen, they launched Monash Curry n Tandoor.
